How to tell if you have diabetes?
The easiest way to tell if you have diabetes is to check your fasting blood sugar. When you don’t eat or drink any carbohydrate for at least 8 hours, your blood sugar at that time is fasting blood sugar.
If your fasting blood sugar is equal to or less than 99 mg/dl, you don’t have diabetes.
If your fasting blood sugar is equal to or higher than 126 mg/dl, you have diabetes.
If your fasting blood sugar is between 100 mg/dl to 125 mg/dl, you have pre-diabetes.
You can get your fasting blood sugar tested at your doctor’s office or medical lab, or even at home with a home glucose meter.
You can’t rely on symptoms of diabetes to tell if you have diabetes. Many people with type 2 diabetes have no symptoms until it is too late. If you are at risk for diabetes, get your fasting blood sugar tested as soon as you can.

I was like 27 years of age randomly vomiting blood which scared me not once but multiple times so I went home and it happened again and my folks saw in my mother started flipping out when she saw like chunks of meat I'm no doc I thought I was throwing up my lungs or something so yeah and went to the local ER here in los Angeles California and all they did was talk about a blood transfusion and stuff but they didn't do it only gave me prescribed me some pills and made me go home. It's years later and I still do not know what the reasoning was why this happened what caused it.

I stopped drugs bcz one day I decided to take 11 captagon pills in 24 hours and my left arm felt itchy and I felt chest and heart numbness. Was that a heart attack? I think I forgot to breathe but I don't know I can't remember. The feeling was for only 10 seconds or so.
I think i had one it's very scary...I felt a sensation on my upper back like somebody touched it then the pains like the video described all across my chest up my back and throat it was horrible it lasted for about 15 to 20 minutes
Im pretty sure I have had 2, one being 3wks after aortic valve replacement and then again about a year or so after that. But until my testing next month I won't know anything. Even then maybe not. It is frustrating when you tell your cardiologist exactly what happened both times that I felt the sensations and he just keeps a smirk on his face like I'm just a hypochondriac dumb layman and tells me I'm fine w/o looking into it. (I got a new cardiologist so hopefully this goes better!) It happened both times when I was sitting still in my chair. All of the sudden I get a pain on my back left shoulder blade area, mostly just very uncomfortable feeling that also kinda felt numbing at the same time. It radiated down my arm and made me feel like I didn't want to move. Both times it faded away in about 3 minutes or so. But no other symptoms along with it, which is why I didn't call 911 or go in. Heart stuff is scary!
